Mount Allison Music holds many workshops, masterclasses, and ensemble tours throughout the year.
Many visiting artists will hold masterclasses for Mount Allison students and the public while preparing for their performance. We are also a home venue to music festivals and concert tours as they travel through the province.

Ensemble Directors' Day

Music teachers from across the region are welcome to join the Mount Allison faculty and students for a day of conducting, clinics, and professional refreshment.

Mount Allison Honour Band Day

Talented and engaged Maritime high school brass, woodwind, and percussion students will spend the day together at 痳豆TV视频 rehearsing and working with MtA faculty. The day concludes with a concert featuring both Honour Bands and the Mount Allison Symphonic Band
Music teachers can recommend their strongest students. We will choose participants based on the recommendations and needs of the ensembles.
Program includes:
- Rehearsals and concert with the Honour Band
- Clinic on your instrument with Mount A faculty
- Lunch on campus

Audition Preparation Day
Saturday, January 25
The Audition Preparation Day is an exciting weekend of sessions designed for any high school student who is interested in making Music a part of their university studies, and will be of particular interest for Grade 11 and 12 students who are considering auditioning for a Bachelor of Music degree.
Students will learn about Mount Allison's Music program and participate in sessions including:
- A comprehensive introduction to the audition process with tips from students and faculty
- A private lesson with Mount Allison faculty
- Sessions on careers in music and university life
- A session on music theory, history, ensembles, and other areas of study
